Simply Beautiful.
Every day we are faced with the choice- how can I make life better today? What can I say, do, make, give or be to make my life and the lives of others better. Here I want to focus on the positives of life in each day, in each moment. By choosing how we answer those questions in a positive way, we make the world a better place for every single one.
I am trying a new format starting today. I will be posting Studio project and shop updates on Mondays. Each Wednesday I will post a "World Wednesday" update with things found in nature, or other nature related topics. On Fridays I will post a tip or project I suggest. Hopefully it will be a fun and exciting change!

How to create comfort in your daily life
Everyone needs to create comfort in their daily lives. It can be a stressed out, hectic world out there. We can make it better though. Just with a few simple acts you can make your life better on a day to day basis. First and foremost: start some positive thinking. Develop your ability to appreciate the beauty in everything around you. Make yourself something special. Even if it's a cup of hot tea, if you treat it as a present you can create comfort for yourself. Surround yourself, as much as possible, with beautiful things. When I started making things for my home I realized how much comfort I get from looking at something and knowing it was made by human hands. Just knowing that what I'm wearing or looking at was handmade is a great source of comfort through beauty in my daily routine. Start "renovating" all your spaces a bit at a time by including beautiful handmade objects. You'll feel the difference, the comfort handmade can bring.
